When can you use feliway?

You can use it if your existing cat becomes stressed because of household changes, either moving house, or a new baby, or another cat. Anything that upsets your cat can cause it stress and this can be relieved by using feliway.

Distressed cats can often scent mark their home in an unpleasant way. They may do this if they feel under threat for instance if another cat is coming in to your house that doesn't belong. Use feliway to calm your cat. Also try to deal with the issue that causes the stress too.

Use during trips to the vet to calm your cat.

Use during the fireworks season. Thankfully firework noise problems are for a shorter time than they used to be, but they still cause distress to your cats. Use feliway to cut down on the stress levels. A plug in of feliway can last for four weeks so use it before and during the fireworks season.
