By having your pets neutered you stop unwanted kittens and puppes.

We've listed places which do subsidised neutering but have yet to find anywhere which is completely free. However people on benefits can get a voucher or discount towards the cost.

Cats neutering at Cats Protection League

Voucher for neueting cats form the cats protection league
You can claim this discount voucher if you are:
A full-time student.
On a pension.
On a means-tested benefit.
On a low wage.

The voucher is worth £20 for female cats and £15 for male cats - you will need to pay the remaining amount for the cost of the operation directly to the vet.
Check with your vet first to see what extra you will have to pay.

Crewe and Nantwich Borough Council
The council works in partnership with the RSPCA to offer its residents subsidised neutering of dogs and bitches for owners on means-tested benefits. At the current time, owners pay £20 for a dog and £30 for a bitch.

RSPCA in some areas offers subsidised neutering also. So if you're not in any of the above categories then contact your local RSPCA

Please have your pet neutered. It will spare you a lot of heartache having to get rid of kittens or puppies!
