Pet Personality Awards Show
The Boomerang Pet Personality Awards at London's Regent's Park,
will be hosted by Donna Air and Georgie Thompson on Sunday 13th
September 2009. The free public event will see Boomerang characters
including Scooby Doo, Garfield, Tweety Pie and The Pink Panther
honour kids and their pets in ten categories including awards for
the Bravest, Cutest, Most Unusual, Favourite Celebrity Pet, amongst
others.
Bringing a slice of quirky British countryside to the heart of London,
the Boomerang Pet Personality Awards will centre around a ‘village
green’ featuring a dog agility show from Britain’s Got
Talent duo Kate & Gin, duck herding, ferret racing and a not-to-be-missed
‘sheeplechase’. Also present will be vintage fairground
rides and a designated family picnic area.

Oldham Pet Show - there will be a novelty dog show in aid of
Christies (Oldham appeal for new radiotherapy centre in Oldham,
as supported by the Oldham Chronicle), at Foxdenton Park on Sat
29th 2009 from 12 - 4pm.
There are six classes of dogs, waggiest tail, best oap, best six
legs, best fancy dress, and in search for the main event... bridesmaid
and most eligible groom for Nancy. There are some fantastic prizes
for winners and placed dogs.
The winner will go forward to the wedding!!! the ceremony will
be held in the park by our resident vicar.
It will be a fun filled day for all the family, with childrens
bouncy castle, BBQ, Face painting, cake and sweet stall, Tommbola,
Raffle, secret auction, hook a duck, beat the gaolie and many more
games and attractions including the famous chaddy owl! all in a
fantastic cause.
The event will be covered by the oldham chronicle, channel M etc
etc.
Free entry to the park, £1.50 to enter your dog into a class...
